Hi! I’m River and I’m 19! I have been a picky eater ever since I could remember. My mom recently told me that I wouldn’t even eat the vegetable puréed baby food. I hate all vegetables, fruits (bananas are only fruit I like) certain cultural foods (asian specifically), or seafood. My daily meals consist of meats, dairy, and carbs. Thankfully, I have a fast metabolism, so I’m able to stay at a healthy weight. I’ve always avoided going to social events with food, and I get so nervous about eating in public, and I never knew why, until I started researching about picky eaters and I realized why! People think it’s weird that I’m a picky eater, especially since I’ve never actually tried most fruits or vegetables, it’s kind of a thing that I just automatically know I don’t like it. But I have been actually wanting to try new fruits, because I know I like the flavor. It’s just going to be hard to get through the texture. I really am glad I found this site and I know I’m not alone! Thank you 🙂
