I don't remember a time when I wasn't picky though my Dad tells me there was. I'm 25, married, and still struggle with this. I am a meat girl with a dislike of all veggies and most fruit. Broccoli is my sworn enemy and cheese is my greatest ally. I live off of the three c's: ships, cheese, and chicken. This has really affected my relationship with my husband since he's so worried about my health. I have tried eating new things but they just don't feel right. I have a hard time getting past the texture of a lot of things. I still wish I could change but I am glad I'm not alone.

I wonder if your husband might have a few foods he doesn't like to eat. How would he react if you insisted he needs to eat those foods. You should be eating enough variety that your health is just fine. I'm the worst of the worst and I will soon be 72 and doing really great. In my mind it's only food and others who take exception with what we can't or won't eat have no place in my life.
